Cosy home near hospital

Pros: Communication with Anna was excellent. We loved the location near the biscuit factory and we were able to walk everywhere (Castle 15 mins, town centre 20-25 mins). Supermarkets and takeaways nearby. The house was warm and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves and have a lovely comfortable stay exploring the area. Would definitely stay again.

A very convenient location and good value for a weekend stay seeing family.

Pros: The 2nd bedroom was a good size and gave our teenagers plenty of space and comfort. A well equipped kitchen. Great security using the Yale app for front door access.

Cons: Main bedroom a little on the small size. Lots of spiders in the property on arrival. We couldn’t get one of the lamps to work. Stains on the living room carpet but clean.

Lovely home with some amazing shops and scenery nearby.

Pros: Although we were on holiday, it felt like we were at home. This is the first time I have stayed at a house rather than a hotel or bed and breakfast. Easy access to train and bus routes and supermarket around the corner was great.

Cons: The only negative thing was the kettle seemed to stop working the last full day we were there.

Pros: This is a wonderful place to stay….. a home from home. It is clean and comfortable. Well equipped and near to the town. The bus stop was just up the road which, was convenient to take us to Bowness for the start of the Hadrian’s wall path! The communication and care shown by the owner was amazing. She went over and above to make sure we had everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible!

Pros: The location was perfect. We were visiting at the hospital and it was a stones throw away but also walking distance to the shops, Carlisle Castle and Britts Park. The property is in a residential area so it was nice and quiet and plenty of space for a family with a nice little patio area as well as board games and toys to keep the kids entertained. The property has everything you need and Anna was incredibly accommodating. We would definitely stay again if in the area. Great value for money.

Nice house on the edge of town.

Pros: Pleasant stay, nice house just on the edge of town, quiet area, easy enough to find. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, front room with tv and seating area. Outside area but that's probably more a summer thing. Very clean throughout

Cons: The key system was a bit complicated as had to download an app and use my smartphone to access the house. I did get the app to work but my friends didn't get it to work, so we only had one key.
