Great little place for somewhere to relax and unwind

Pros: Really quiet and chill place. Everything was there that we needed. Grounds outside were a great addition to walk round.

Cons: One road Upto it had a bit hole and car would have got grounded if I didn’t notice it

Scottish Break

Pros: Quiet, close to Dumfries, large bathroom. Shower was easy to use and water was hot. Wifi was fine.

Cons: Bedroom small, No wardrobe or drawers due to lack of space. We sleep in a Super King at home with a Orthopaedic mattress, the mattress was to soft. Could only get the oven to work, not the grill. There were 5 frying pans but no oven trays.

Pros: Kevin and Shirin were absolutely amazing! They welcomed us on arrival and even offered to take us to the shops the next day. They were so welcoming and lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed! There’s a stream at the back of the cabin which was absolutely beautiful, and the views from the cabin were lovely. 10/10 would recommend!

Brilliant

Pros: A fantastic place in a stunning setting with great hosts. We were sad to only stay for a few days, could have happily stayed for a week. We hope to go back soon.

Cons: Bed against the wall but not a big problem

Lovely different place with extremely nice hosts would recommend

Pros: Its quirky and different set in lovely grounds and hosts were very welcoming and friendly and explained a lot about the history of the main house which was lovely to learn

Cons: The only negative is that there is no washing machine which if you were there for a week could be a problem especially if you had children but would not put us of going back
