The Apartment

Excellent accommodation and location

Pros: The Apartment was lovely and comfortable and had everything I needed during my stay. The location was great, only a short walk to the shop, bus stop and electric train station. It is up quite a steep hill if your mobility is not great though. Parking outside the property was no problem. There is a little stream opposite the property, which was lovely to listen to, with ducks crossing the lane to get to it Communication from Naomi and Stephen was excellent before and during my stay. I would highly recommend staying here. If I visit the IOM again in the future, I would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Very accommodating hosts, nice relaxed feel. We have stayed in all three accommodations at this location now, have loved each one, and will be back again.

Great apartment in a lovely location.

Pros: Spacious, spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and well equipped apartment. Kitchen & bathroom a pleasure to use with good quality fixtures & fittings. Very comfortable lounge & bedroom Quiet & attractive location in Laxey village and just a few minutes walk to local shops, pubs and bus / tram stops. Pleasant walk from the door to Laxey Wheel & mines or down to the harbour & beach. Communication from the owners was prompt, helpful and very friendly. This is a great apartment and I thoroughly recommend it.

Great little spot in Laxey

Pros: Lovely place to stay.perfect for a couple. Very neat and clean. Hosts extremely nice and friendly.

Pros: Good amount of pots and pans for cooking. Nice touches like hot water bottles. Good selection of coffee, tea and biscuits

Cons: Central heating wasn't working for first few days (although a convector heater was provided). Dust on lamp shade in lounge.

Relaxing, clean and welcoming 😀

Pros: Lovely communication from the owners. It was spacious in a fabulous location. It was really clean and everything you needed was on hand. Easy car parking too.

Pros: Wonderful, cozy Apartment. The couch and the bed where incredibly comfortable, we slept very very good. The apartment was also very clean when we got there. The location close to the tram and bus station is very convenient for the use of public transport and there is private parking available for a rental car. The owners are super friendly and helpful and are always available for questions or assistance. Couldn't recommend this more.

Cons: The equipment in the kitchen could be a bit better, but for 'normal' holiday cooking it's sufficient. Maybe a new pan would be good at some point.

Lovely apartment in excellent location

Pros: A lovely spacious apartment with good quality furniture, appliances etc. Very comfortable bed and lovely roomy shower. The property is well placed with easy access to the local coop and the tram, railway and bus stops. Owner sent helpful information about when to eat, shop etc.
