Lodge Cabin with Fabulous Views - Farm Holiday

Pros: Lovely warm, spacious cabin. Ordered the welcome pack, with was full of delicious food and drinks.

Great cabins

Pros: The location was good, the cabin was excellent and the hosts were there if you needed them but not over the top

Cons: The drive there but worth it

Pros: Everything was amazing. The most beautiful place on the edge of the world. So restful & recharging.

Pros: Kay and Ian kept me updated with my booking, double checked my requirements and visited me on site to make sure I had everything I needed.The accommodation was lovely, very clean and comfortable with everything anyone could ask for. The location was amazing, very peaceful and the view was outstanding. The little provisions box was stocked everyday with delicious local produce, which of course I had to sample, daily 😂. The best bit for me was the enclosed field for dogs, it's so nice knowing that your dog can run off lead and be safe and secure without bothering the farm animals. I will definitely be booking again.

Cons: Absolutely nothing, I loved every minute of my stay.

The perfect place to recharge in the most amazing surroundings

Pros: The location was perfect. The view was so peaceful and the sheep in the fields were adorable and enjoyed being petted. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. The luxury welcome pack was amazing and full of delicious treats The night sky was totally unspoilt so star gazing was unlike anything we’ve seen at home There was a guest folder that made lots of welcome suggestions and a magazine in the lodge with them as well so it was lovely to wake up and plan a day out based on the weather and all the suggestions as well as things we had in mind. There was a lovely short walk to a beach through the fields

Cons: Absolutely nothing

Perfect holiday to switch off from the world

Pros: This was our 2nd year here & we absolutely love it. We brought the family this time and had 3 lodges. We had a family emergency before we got here so had to do a bit of a change of occupancy in the lodges with dogs etc, Kay & Ian were very understanding. We got the welcome packs again & they did not disappoint!! We were lucky enough some surprise lambs had been born so got a hold. This place has amazing views & is very peaceful to switch off. Great base for going around Dumfries & Galloway. We will be back!

Pros: Nothing was too much trouble. We paid for the hamper and it was AMAZING. As a permanent wheelchair user, staying at the lodge was a challenge, but nothing that couldn't be overcome and Lay and Ian went above and beyond to help.

Cons: Being a permanent wheelchair user, the lodge access was a struggle at times, and for me the shower was inaccessible, and pull down rails at the toilet would have been perfect, but Ian and Kay and me had extensive discussions beforehand and Ian and Kay provided photographs and measurements so I knew exactly what to expect.

Exceptional. Was like going from home and home.

Pros: The place was so beautiful. Ian and Kaye were the most wonderful hosts. Can’t thank them enough.

Lovely short break with sea views

Pros: Excellent views, quiet surroundings, liked the farm location, nice balcony area to sit out on, parking next to property

Lovely 3 day break but wouldn't want to stay much longer.

Pros: Loved the view mostly. The lodge was just a static caravan though and the rooms were caravan size. Comfortable (apart from the double bed which as too small for us. Well equipped throughout. Lovely host, walk to Portpatrick was too far for me sadly.

Cons: Double bed - should have realised when they said double that it would be too small for us.
