Ailsa Retreat

Was used as a base for a wedding we were attending 10 minutes away. Will definitely use it again to tour the area .

Pros: The property was clean and bright and had everything we needed for our weekend stay.

Cons: Would not suit an elderly couple or anyone with disabilities due to the stairs

Very warm, comfortable and close to high street.

Pros: The heating system was excellent - we were very warm and cosy. I liked having a lounge rug, two settees, extra floor lamps, bedside lamps, four pillows and plenty of towels. Comfortable bed and pretty well equipped kitchen. Even scissors for wrapping Christmas presents! High Street just a few minutes walk and plenty of parking at the property.

Cons: It's on the 2nd floor with no lift but you know that when booking. I would definitely return.

Suited our needs very well

Pros: Great Location, pleasant layout, quiet and excellent parking provision.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Just right for the two of us.

Pros: Cosy but with adjustable heaters so we could get our preferred temperature just right. Comfy beds. Quiet. Well equipped. Good parking.

Cons: Bedding for sofa bed was greyish and not as white as it should have been.

Pros: Very clean comfortable easy access to the town. Very comfortable bed.

Very pleasant stay in the centre of Troon.

Pros: Top floor flat (2 stories) in the centre of Troon. Pretty much everything you need is in the flat and you have easy access to the seaside, golf courses, train station etc. While Troon is not an expensive place, the hotels tend to be so this flat provides a good alternative. It was also very quiet.

Cons: No usb points (I always take plugs with me anyway). A coffee machine would be a good extra, but you can, of course, take your own.

Pros: Minutes from the beach or the centre of town. Well equipped. Spacious and very comfortable and clean

Cons: It is top floor in case any mobility issues but bannisters on both sides of staircase

A very good stay.

Pros: I really liked the location as it was close to restaurants and bars. It was also close to the beach too. It was a nice and quiet flat and comfortable.

Cons: We felt there could be more amenities on hand such as bin liners, shampoo and shower gel. We found the bed a bit hard.
