Nice place in a nice town with a lovely owner

Pros: The property was clean and what was needed. Hi Weber the best part about the place is the lady that owns the place. A lovely lady who I hope will continue to be successful

Lovely guest house. Would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Great location on quiet road with nice outlook. Lovely owner. Room clean and comfortable. Bathroom recently refurbished but a little tight on space. Beds really comfortable with nice linen. Breakfast generous portions.

Cons: WiFi in room not brilliant. Jam and marmalade from jars would be nice, rather than plastic packs. Sliding door to bathroom very noisy.

Great place to stay and not far to walk to Moffat

Pros: Location and friendliness of the lady that ran it. She also made my breakfast an hour earlier then usual

Pros: Staff very helpful. Good off street parking for our motorcycle. Clothes airer to dry off wet motorcycle clothes. Big room. Excellent breakfast cooked to order.

Great location

Pros: The location is fantastic, quiet street, lovely area and only 5 mins walk into centre. Clean room and breakfast was lovely. We stayed over only one night so the issues that bothered us were not a big deal. However if we had been there a couple of days I would have been unhappy.

Cons: Bathroom door did not shut properly, was annoying Ias I was staying with my mum. The tv was tiny and so far away from the bed I stopped watching it. However the hosts had only been in since May do hopefully these things will be improved soon.

Pros: Clean house. Very comfortable. Lovely breakfast. Everyone was very helpful.

Pros: We were greeted at the door by Maureen, who was lovely and very welcoming. She showed us to our room, which was lovely and very cosy. When I say cosy, it was not small at all and in fact had a double and single bed. It was just homely! The room was also ensuite and the shower was hot and had nice toiletries. We stayed for breakfast which was great. I had a veggie breakfast and my other half had, a full Scottish and plenty of tea. We would have no hesitation in going back as it catered for everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Cons: Nothing. Our only regret was not booking the previous night to have a 2 night stay

Pros: Really handy location. Few minutes walk from town centre. Spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Very friendly and helpful host.

Pros: Only stayed one night but had a lovely stay, comfortable clean ,we had a cooked breakfast. Maureen was very easy to deal with, and if over that way in the future, we would definitely stay again.
