Perfect cottage in a spectacular location.

Pros: Everything was perfect. The hosts had anticipated everything that we would need.

A well furnished cottage in walking distance of cosy pubs and shops in Keswick. Not to be missed!

Pros: The very comfortable free-standing cottage (with parking and garden) is situated on a hill overlooking Derwent Water and surrounding hills. It’s a lovely 30-40 minute stroll from the cottage down to the pubs and shops in Keswick. The wider scenery is stunning — a real walkers paradise. We would suggest to take a bus from Keswick to Buttermere for a circular walk, to Seatoller for a walk along River Derwent back to Keswick, not to mention Grassmere, Langdale, Ullswater. There are so many options. Clare and Steve are wonderful people, great hosts, made us feel welcome, and spoiled us in many ways. The whole experience brought us many happy memories.
