Pros: Beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped house in a great location. We had a lovely stay as a family of five (three kids ranging 3–7 years old).

Cons: The only slight concerns were the wide gaps between the railings on the first-floor landing that could be an issue for younger children, and that there were lots of gnats coming in through gaps around the bathroom windows.

Pros: Location was good for us as adult family. Great to explore Northern and Western Lakes. Few minutes drive back to Keswick or Cockermouth. Clean and comfortable. Well equipped

Cons: The stairs to the bathrooms were difficult for elderly relative at night time and deep for us all and could do with and extra or higher rail to hold onto
