Comfy quiet cottage

Pros: Lovely cosy cottage in the countryside. Comfortable and clean. Plenty of hot water and comfy beds. Lovely and quiet, but all amenities only 20 mins away.

Cons: Well off the beaten track (not a problem for us though)

Perfect base for a walking holiday.

Pros: Very comfortable furniture in the living room, the enclosed garden was great for the dog and a really good size, and there were some lovely sunset views outside the property when the Scottish weather allowed!

Cons: Nothing, the property was perfect for what we needed.

If you’re looking for a quiet break away with beautiful quiet countryside, and the comforts of home in really cosy beds

Pros: Beautiful property in an idyllic countryside location. Being remote it may be harder to find but we had no trouble. Beautiful scenery and cosy place - we had terrible rainy weather mostly so it was a nice haven to come back to. Corinna was so attentive and friendly, and nearby if we needed anything.

Lovely cottage in a wonderful location

Pros: Lovely cottage with private garden in the countryside. Nice views and not too far from Dumfries centre. Good location for traveling to many places. Everything you need in the cottage includes large flat screen TV with dvd player and dvds. Also many games and books. Bedrooms were very spacious. The beds and pillows were very comfy, as was the sofa. It was very peaceful and quiet - only the sound of wildlife. I wish we had been able to take a couple more days yhere.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Genuinely very happy to have stayed here

Pros: The cottage is beautifully presented, all the usual items are present including a nesprsesso machine. The setting and surrounding area are beautiful, quiet and safe.

Cons: the master bed was a little squeaky and one socket didn't function, but the host was very open to feedback and I'm sure this won't be an issue for future patrons.
