Lovely cottage

Pros: It was clean, spacious and lovely being in the countryside. So safe for parking our van.

Cons: Internet is shocking

Great escape from the rat race

Pros: When we arrived we were greeted by Richard and Amber, his dog they were both really friendly. They also have some working dogs at the farm who are also well behaved. Richard gave us the rundown of the house the hot tub and then later on Alison popped in to say hello, and we had to fill in a form about hot tub safety, which is great. Keep us nice and safe, the house itself was immaculate all the way through Not a thing out of a place. The kitchen had everything you need for a self catering holiday. I would highly recommend the Bothy for your UK self catering holiday. Yes it is slightly out of the way but we love that because there’s nothing like getting back to nature and you really do.

Great for families to relax and explore the Lake District.

Pros: Has everything you need and is great for a family with children. It is well presented and clean.

Cons: Check out time is a little bit early (9am) for our liking but that's just personal preference.
