Amazing stay at the Lake District

Pros: Amazing house. Brilliant location. Fantastic host. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. There are so many walks in the are- we were spoilt for choice. But because the house was so great, we were (almost) tempted to not even leave the house for the whole weekend!

Cons: Nothing. Everything was great!

Outstanding property in a beautiful location.

Pros: Beautiful location, only 10 mins from Keswick. Absolutely stunning views all around the property. Large barn conversion extremely spacious. Everything needed for self catering. Log fire perfect for the evenings 👌 saw the stars on a clear night above the property. Amazing!

Cons: Nothing.

The best property we have stayed in so far.

Pros: The whole house is amazing. Spacious rooms that are cleaned to a high standard and comfortable. This has to be the most well thought out of property's we have ever stayed in..we wanted for nothing. The wood burning stove was set up ready to use on our arrival. The bed is so comfortable and huge. The garden is pretty and private. The owners were on hand should we needed and we there to give us a warm welcome on arrival. The property is a mile away from the village of Braithwaite which has a shop, a tearoom and cafe. We walked over the hills to get there although the walk on the roadside would be less challenging. We didn't want to leave and are already planning our return.

Cons: Having to leave!

Perfect long weekend location for a relaxing (or activity filled) holiday

Pros: Location, views from every window, spacious, private, everything you needed was on hand (I.e. kitchen appliances and equipment, washing machine, tumble dryer, logs for the fire, blankets, towels etc.), hospitality.

Fantastic, enormous, romantic getaway for lovers of the mountains!

Pros: Fantastic quiet location, amazing Mountain View’s from the property. Clean, no dogs allowed, gorgeous Kingsize bed and bedroom. Quality furniture, towels and kitchen utensils and crockery.

Cons: Its always booked up

Very relaxing atmosphere with access to stunning walks straight out from the property.

Pros: Exceptional property in a fantastic location with stunning views. Very comfortable super king bed. Large well equipped kitchen and dining area. Rooms are huge, immaculately decorated and furnished. Highly recommended.

Cons: It was absolutely perfect, therefore nothing to dislike

Beautiful tranquil location

Pros: Amazing location for hiking, so quiet and peaceful! The garden was beautiful, home to so much wildlife we loved being woken up by the birds in the morning. The house itself has everything you need and so much space.
