Pros: What a little gem! This cottage is a the essence of the Lake District accommodation. Beautiful decorated, with everything and more you need for a long or short stay. Actually you could simply move in and live there for a llifetime it's so well equipped. The bedrooms are super comfortable and for travelling with two teenagers the fact they have one bed each instead of a king or queen or sofa is just priceless. Lovely little garden and Mountain View is great add-on. The location is perfect with the village Main Street literally footsteps away and lake just a short (lovely) walk away. Loved every minute in the cottage minus the one we had to leave it :)

Cozy cottage in the heart of Keswick
Pros: Very homely and clean, great location in the heart of the village with plenty of restaurants nearby and a 10 minutes walk to the lake. Great to stay with children.
Cons: Hard to park . Also neighbours pass behind the house through the garden so we felt it lacked privacy.

Excellent, central location for facilities and days out in the Lake District.
Pros: Furnishing and decor very tasteful. Nice garden and outdoor space. Well equipped, provided umbrellas, walking sticks, lots of toys, books, maps.
Cons: Parking could be difficult.

Pros: It was a great location, I loved the set out of the cottage as it had a lot of space and felt very homely.
Cons: It was difficult bringing all our stuff from the car to the cottage. As it was a bit of a walk and was a very narrow street to park and unload.

A beautiful property with friendly and helpful hosts, set in a fantastic location...
Pros: The cottage was beautifully presented, clean, comfortable, well equipped, and was brimming with charm and character. Just the briefest of walks from the town centre meant everything we needed was close at hand. The owner's parking permit for Skiddaw Street was so helpful! Keswick can get busy and perhaps problematic for parking, but, being only a short five minute walk away, making use of the permit took all that hassle away...
Cons: Double yellow lines outside the property meant loading and unloading the car at each end of our stay felt a little uncomfortable. To be fair, though, the road wasn't very busy so we didn't appear to inconvenience other road users...
