Fryston Cottage

Pros: Really lovely cottage,clean,,warm,comfortable beds great size kitchen,lounge, bathrooms,quiet edge of town location,parking at door.

Nice stay

Pros: Well-appointed house. It's much bigger than we expected. Very clean and good amenities Nice to find a bottle if wine and fudge waiting for us.

Cons: The pillows were dreadful, lumpy, and not comfortable. Really poor sleep because of this. We didn't expect to strip the beds before we left. If I'm paying for accommodation, I don't expect to be stripping beds.

Very comfortable & well equipped cottage near Keswick

Pros: Very well equipped, warm and comfortable cottage suitable for 4 people. Property located on a short cul de sac off the main road into Keswick. Easy 10 minute walk into town and bus stops right outsite.

Cons: Parking could have been an issue but we didn't have a problem. Other street parking available nearby. Twa Dogs Inn nearby but again no problem for us.

Pros: Really enjoyed our stay here, will definitely stay here again.

A lovely holiday home.

Pros: Lovely cottage, beautifully renovated and modernised inside to a high standard. A great base for exploring the Lakes.

Cons: Parking in the street outside is very limited and little alternative street parking nearby.

Very comfortable, pretty cottage on the outskirts of Keswick

Pros: We enjoyed the very clean and well-decorated, spacious interior. Very comfortable sitting and dining rooms, with many board and card games and books for us to enjoy.

Cons: The location is nearby a busy road (though noise not was an issue), directly opposite a fairly busy pub, and on the outskirts of Keswick town (circa 15 minute walk to town centre).

Pros: Cottage is adorable and had everything we needed for our family stay. 2 huge bathrooms were great for family of 4. Decorated well. Games to play were fun also. Loved having the pub right next door. Lovely walk into the charming village.

Cons: The king bed didn’t have a fitted sheet so we contacted the number on the laminated sheet in the cottage for the house manager. They messaged us back that the cleaners said there was a sheet on there. I sent her a picture of the bed with no sheet. Not sure why they were even questioning me, why would I make this up. They finally sent someone over on our last night with a twin size sheet so that didn’t work . Bath mat was moldy too. Just poor service in that regard, but everything else was lovely.

A great cottage which I would definitely recommend.

Pros: The property was bigger than we expected, it seemed to be two cottages made into one. It had been completely modernised, with all the kitchen appliances you would require along with the instruction books on how to use them. The location was excellent, with a 15 minute walk to the centre of Keswick, and you didn't have to walk along the main road as there was access to a footpath along the former railway line which was very pleasant and peaceful. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathroom and ensuite facilities were very good.

Cons: Everything was really good, but some outside space would have been a bonus.

Great holiday destination enhanced by good accommodation.

Pros: Beautifully clean and very well equipped cottage. Beds were super comfy. Keswick is a great town for making the most of the Lakes.

Cons: A boiler problem but this was sorted out in a timely manner.

Pros: Lovely apartment! The hosts has thought of everything. Beautiful decor and absolutely spotless.
