Glenmore Lodge

A lovely winter retreat which I'd love to do again!

Pros: The aesthetic of the lodge was beautiful! Very warm and cozy, with the electric fire going and the curtains open it felt like a movie. The rooms were much more spacious than we expected and the beds were incredibly comfortable!

Cons: The water pressure was quite weak, and the walls were quite thin.

A Perfect Time With Friends

Pros: Everything. The lodge was fantastic. Situated in a quiet park and not too far out of town. Great base to enjoy the Lakes with Skidaw as your back drop. Lovely

A pleasant stay overall

Pros: Very cosy and extremely clean, everything you need. Lovely surroundings and close to Keswick town centre

Cons: The sofas were extremely uncomfortable and sagged in the middle, they need replacing. The kitchen bin needs a lid and recycling facilities need to be explained better. Outside of our lodge was messy due to work being done and tools, paint and wood cut offs left lying around

Lovely short break, pity about the rain!!

Pros: Excellent location, lovely views. Lodge clean and well prepared

Cons: It's a small point but a lidded waste bin would comply with food hygiene regulations and be more aesthetically pleasinbg

A great base for exploring the lakes and keswick

Pros: Lovely place. Everything you could need...except from WiFi. A perfect base for exploring the lakes.. Great location. I'd highly recommend this place

In overall, we were very pleased with our stay. We had a great time. We might come back next year.

Pros: The location was perfect. The lodge was cozy, comfy, and nice.

Cons: The washing machine was out of order. We were not allowed to use it.

Would go again would not mind owning a lodge on Burnside Park

Pros: The Location suits us fine. we are most likely to return

Cons: I mentioned parking being a problem before I found it okay this time reversing into it worked great.

A lovely trip away with lovely accommodation

Pros: We loved the access to Keswick and the views from the lodge.

Cons: The washing machine was slightly hard to operate and could've had more instructions.

Pros: Liked the accommodation itself. The great location, good access to shops, museums. Great family stay.

Cons: Lacking hot water supply (for 5 people) shower pressure very low. Lighting should be brighter in the living room.
