Lapwing

Pros: Super cosy, warm, and comfortable. Lovely location, great facilities.

Cons: Kettle needed descaling, shower drain needed unblocking, a lot of missing light bulbs. A surround for the fire would've been great to keep baby and dog safe, but we didn't use it as it was so warm!

Cons: The accommodation itself was lovely but just needed some tlc and general maintenance . Minor things like electrical equipment and lighting checks . The bathroom water screen needed to be resealed along fixture edges to stop water leaking onto floor.

Relaxing holiday

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a really peaceful area and the chalet was charming and always warm. A much needed getaway from my busy life. It was nice having the beach right at our doorstep and the land around the chalets for our dog to roam in. The one thing I couldn't get over was how pretty and bright the stars were. I've never seen them that bright before. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and definitely would come back in the future.

Cons: If you don't have a car it would probably be difficult for you to get around but that's to be expected with the countryside.

Pros: Beautiful location. Very rural but easy access to beach and nearby village pub along the beach. Torch a must.

Cons: Sofa... time for a new one. Wifi hit and miss. Tv ..Time for a smart tv

Perfect 80th birthday trip

Pros: Both cabins were spotlessly clean and well equipped. The location was perfect for us (extended family with dogs) maybe 20m from the beach. 10mins walk to pub. Loads to do in area.

Cons: In one cabin the thermostat didn’t seem to be working - cabin was already very warm and heating would come on anyway. Better than being too cold and we just needed to switch it off.

Pros: Fantastic location,. Clean and the shower was great.

Cons: Internet connection was terrible.

Family of three, with a dog, enjoyed one week of walks, cycling and relaxing time.

Pros: Good size for a family, clean and with all you need for a week stay. Good information from the host of the activities available around.

Cons: In Skylark Chalet the plumbing fitments need some maintenance. Loose taps & shower fittings. Lack of plug for the wash hand basin.

Lovely lodge and perfect quiet beach location

Pros: Location is amazing, right at the beach which was so quiet and gorgeous. Everything you need in the lodge and owners very helpful

Cons: Not so much didnt like, but could do with a few bits being updated, but nothing that spoilt our holidayx

Pros: The chalet was in a great location, was dog friendly and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This included, a great pub, The Steamboat Inn just a short walk away along the beach. The log burning stove kept us cozy even when the weather outside was stormy.

Cons: Nothing about to the Chalet or location but the public roads had some of the worst potholes we have seen.
