Christmas Stay 2025

Pros: The house was fantastic, warm, and even festive with a little decorated Christmas tree. We really enjoyed the modern kitchen and the welcome folder with plenty of information about local sights and things to do. The book of handwritten notes from previous stays by others was really homely. Absolutely fantastic place to stay, and we I would definitely try to get this place again for future stays.

Cheryl & Nick own a great property that we treated as our own during our Stay.Simply Superb all round.

Pros: Very Clean,Very well presented and appointed.Beds were Very Comfortable. Location Close Enough for everywhere in Maryport within a 10minute Walk.

Pleasant stay in Maryport

Pros: Really clean, modern feeling, pleasant house and nice 10-15 minutes walk into the town centre. Comfortable beds, good size house for 4 adults to stay (would be fine for 6 too). Nice dining table area and comfortable sofas. Some nice touches like teabags and coffee provided. Kitchen has good pans etc. for cooking a meal with. Great communication with Cheryl and no issues checking in. On street parking was fine and there is even more space round the back too. Enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Cons: Nothing it was all good. Great starter kit provided of a loo roll, dishwasher tablet etc. Just be aware you'll need to bring with/pop out for some extra supplies if staying a a coupleof nights (really minor point but might help someone to plan their visit).

Pros: Excellent property, comfy and cosy. Clean and comfortable all round. Nice walking distance to the marina/ beach and local pub/ restaurants.

Cons: There is nothing to complain about, only thing we could suggest is a larger doormat after we got caught in a downpour!

Lovely stay in maryport

Pros: It was clean and comfortable with good facilities. Very handy for my job.

Cons: Just the fact the bathroom/toilet was downstairs to the bedrooms.

Absolutely brilliant. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Pros: I travelled with my 2yr old and there were some toys and books in the room he stayed in which he loved. It was a really nice touch

Cons: Everything was perfect but it could have been cleaner. It did not detract from my stay at all but I had to hoover the ground floor as there was quite a bit of dirt and I could not walk around without bits getting stuck to my feet. Everywhere else was very clean, it’s just like the cleaner forgot to hoover the ground floor It would also be good if you could turn off the lights on the stairs. I slept in the room on the top floor which does not have a door due to the layout. This is fine and you have privacy but the lights on the stairs are set to switch on with a PIR sensor so anytime they are activated the lights come on and if you’re on the top floor trying to sleep it’s as though the lights have been switched on in your room.

Fabulous over night stay. A credit to Cheryl, so nice, cosy and comfortable.

Pros: This home is definitely home from home and a gem of a find, even down to the smallest detail of blankets to cosy up in front of the tv at night.

Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like

Pros: The property was absolutely stunning! Everything was so perfect & had everything you would ever need! Felt like home as soon as we walked through the door & the kids loved it too!

Pros: Very clean and beautiful Everything is well thought through Nice location Very helpful host

Home from home indeed

Pros: So clean. Cumphy matresses. Beautiful kitchen an bathroom.

Cons: The parking situation on the road was tight and difficult on the weekend days we were there.
