Pros: The cottage was lovely, very clean and extremely comfortable and cosy. The hosts where very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be booking again in the future, I think this will be our favourite holiday location from now on. They have got an absolute gem of a place there. Definitely worth a stay, the cost was extremely reasonable

Great location

Pros: Exceptional location. Quiet property with easy access to the fells from Mungrisdale and Scales. Howe End was well equipped and was very comfortable with quality linen and attention to detail. The grounds are well kept and we loved seeing the frequent visits of red squirrels.

Peaceful Lakes Stay in a Beautiful Setting

Pros: We had a wonderful four-night family stay with our two teenage children. The location is beautiful, with well-kept grounds, and the property was extremely clean. It’s a great base for exploring the Lake District, and it was lovely to return to such a welcoming place each evening. There are also some great local walks straight from the property. Fiona and Mark were excellent hosts – thank you for a fantastic stay! We would definitely recommend.
