The Wee Lion

Pros: Love the whole apartment and location to the beach only 5 mins will and shops not far away.

Cons: Only issue i encountered was with key safe and front door.

Pros: Really like the place very nicely kept and not far from town centre and beach.

Cons: Only the hall way at bottom as people put stuff outside 31a a chair and a glass table top so that was extremely dangerous.

Good value, clean accommodation.

Pros: Central location Good value for money Kitchen was easy to use and functional

Cons: There were no duvet covers supplied for the sofa bed Shower could be more powerful (but we understand it is cheap accommodation!)

Loved everything

Pros: Spotless, modern, comfortable. 10 mins walk from Troon town centre and the beach, and the train station not far if you want to explore. Perfect really. We had a wonderful time. My daughters shared the bed and I slept on the very comfortable sofa bed. Loved the washing machine... my ocd was on holiday too lol. I would without hesitation stay there again.

Cons: We (me and my two daughters) did struggle to understand how to open the outer door to the building, there's no signs to tell you that it's the right door (we arrived in the dark due to train cancellations), I couldn't work out where to empty the bins, or work the Hive (I think just a low battery?), which was a little problematic as the weather was awful... not the owners fault!

We had a really lovely time in Troon despite some cold weather. Would definitely come back again and stay at The Wee Lio

Pros: The flat was absolutely great. It was clean and spacious with lovely view of a cherry blossom tree. It was situated close the main street of Troon and the restaurants and supermarket were within easy walking distance. Close to the railway station as well when we arrived, we just walked up the street 😊

Cons: Nothing it was perfect

Pros: Clean modern flat ideally located close to all pubs and restaurants would highly recommend

Pros: Lovely apartment, nicely presented and very clean. Great location for us as we were visiting relatives who live close by. Good location for golfers as well. We had everything we needed.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Cons: No electrical socket near the only mirror in bedroom, for hairdryers etc.

Clean and tidy accommodations close to the town center of Troon.

Pros: Property was well located and clean. We were easily able to walk to the town center and everything Troon has to offer. We stayed for the Open Championship and were also able to walk to the golf course each day.

Cons: The property provides very basic accommodation. As mentioned in previous reviews there is no outlet in the bathroom, nor one nearby the mirror in the bedroom, so getting ready as a women can be challenging. We’ve stayed in other locations in the UK and have seen bathrooms without outlets before, but there has always been one near another mirror in the apartment. The property could probably position a mirror in a location that would make getting ready a bit easier. The kitchen has basic supplies and utensils. We stayed for 5 nights for the Open Championship so the cost was much more than normal as to be expected for an event like that. However, we were surprised to find only one roll of toilet paper and one Bath towel/wash cloth per person provided since we were staying for 5 nights. We reached out and they stopped by with additional necessities, but we were surprised we would need to ask for them. The bed is comfortable but on the smaller side. All in all we didn’t spend much time in the accommodation, and it provided a clean and convenient location for what we needed.
