Great cottage for a group / large family stay

Pros: Very comfortable for a group of 6. Is in the middle of nowhere so best to self cater and it has most of what you need for that

A wonderful

Pros: Cragside cottage was beautifully presented. Clean and tidy with thoughtful little extras. Our baby granddaughter particularly enjoyed the sheep grazing on the hillside rear garden.

Pros: lots of room and kitchen/living room beautiful and well equipped. also great location to explore the northern lakes.

Cons: cigarette buts on floor outside door upon arrival… I assume from previous guest. also a butter knife sticking out of the mattress in my room?? which the kids found! also no private garden/patio.
