Large country house with garden

Pros: Rustic country house, clean, spacious and well equipped with everything you would need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Outside Hot Tub and Sauna were well used and greatly appreciated.

Perfect peace with every need catered for , comfortable and modern amenities

Pros: Spacious , clean , everything was thought of down to cleaning products , change of linens if necessary . Big enough so we weren’t in each others way and had space to have down time if needed

Fantastic house

Pros: House was fantastic. Spacious and in an idyllic location. Nice and remote but not too far from nearby villages and town if needed. Games facilities were a nice touch to keep us entertained.

Cons: Can't think of any....

Overall, a great family trip and would like to return.

Pros: The house is huge and there is so much to do! Ping pong, pool, darts, hundreds of dvds, board games, books, hot tub, sauna, fire pit, s’mores making. We made the most of the facilities and had a great time. There were 10 of us in total and it felt like there was plenty of room. The owners were super responsive and helpful.

Cons: The sofa bed and downstairs double bed were both very uncomfortable. They could use a decent mattress topper, at the least.

Fabulous space for a group stay, great peaceful location

Pros: Amazing stay to celebrate a family birthday! House was well stocked with everything we could need, communication from hosts was excellent and the enclosed garden is brilliant for children and pets.

Cons: Nothing really, only minor improvement could be to finish the patio area - the steps look like temporary slabs.

Property exceeded expectations - would happily return!

Pros: The property was perfect for our groups needs. We had a large amount of space to enjoy indoor activities, such as the pool & tennis tables, whilst also exploring and making use of the expansive garden. The house was kindly stocked with a number of essential kitchen utensils, cleaning products & store cupboard items which were very helpful. The BBQ in the garden was also well used during the recent bout of warm weather.

Cons: The pool table & darts board could do with a little TLC, although this did not in any way overshadow the enjoyment that we had throughout our stay. The water supply via a well is unique at this property, however when we had slight difficulties, our hosts fixed the issue within a very short space of time. Top tier hospitality.

Pros: Fantastic stay. Such good value for money with all the amenities and location! Hosts friendly and house was very spacious with lots to do.

A really nice house, good place for all the family to get together. The children loved the garden.

Pros: The location was very good, exactly as advertised. The garden and Hot/tub sauna were excellent- much enjoyed. The games room and the pool table were much enjoyed.

Cons: The bed settee located in the living room was very uncomfortable as were the 2 single beds, advertised as being able to form a double. There was not much local information, maps, visitor centres, attractions etc. We ran out of toilet rolls and couldn`t find any extras so bought some in. Not many children`s books or toys.

Peaceful paradise

Pros: It was in the middle of nowhere with sheep for neighbours, very peaceful.

Pros: All amenities and extras were very good. Hot tub and sauna were very relaxing.

Cons: Some of the dishes and glasses required to be cleaned before use.
