Pros: We loved our stay at the Market Inn. It was warm, welcoming and comfortable. Lovely room, friendly, helpful staff and a hearty breakfast. Exactly what we needed/ wanted. Couldn't fault any of it. Thank you

A warm welcome, a clean and characterful place to stay, and great value for money.

Pros: The location of The Market Inn is at the top of the main thoroughfare, King Street. All the shops are within easy walking distance and there's a great variety to choose from. I stayed in one of the recently refurbished rooms which have been finished to a decent standard. Modern rooms, character bar/restaurant and very friendly staff.

Cons: Perhaps the size of the shower could have been larger and staying for three nights might have benefitted from more than one of the usual shampoo, conditioner etc. being left in the bathroom. That said if you need more you can ask.

Like a home from home only better.

Pros: From the moment we arrived the young lady at reception treated us like family. The heating wasn’t on in the room so she organised a space heater. My daughter and I were visiting my mum. The property was so homely and beautifully decorated and styled.

Cons: Nothing. We loved it all.

Pros: This place was amazing 👏. Fantastic staff, all so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Whoever chose the background music 🎶 brilliant - like a bit of rock. Will definitely come again.

Pros: Nice and modern, very clean, friendly staff, really good food, good selection of drinks, open at the weekend until 23:00 on a Friday and 23:30 Saturday. Cocktail bar and room at the back with more seats and pool table.

Cons: Nothing to list but the missus said the bed was a little firm
