Elliot Suite No15 - Donnini Apartments

I would stay again if ever visiting the area.

Pros: Everything we needed for a short stay. Beds were very comfortable.

Cons: The TV didn’t work. The staff were amazing and messaged me straight back to try to sort it. It was late on Friday evening so I didn’t bother to pursue it.

Area facilities were spot on and very reasonable priced

Pros: The apartment was very spacious and had all the facilities of home

Cons: Thought i could have been notified before arrival about the waiver was a must otherwise everything else excellent. Also the tv had 4 remotes which none of them worked we personally were not down for thet but if I had kids with me would have been a big problem

Pros: This is for Elms Way 33 apartment, as we got moved. The decor was nice and fresh, the beds were comfortable and the apartment felt homy. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Cons: We didn't get twin beds as requested (this had been previously confirmed) and the kitchen area wasn't too clean. Some of the crockery felt dirty, like it had been rinsed and put away. The inside of the cupboards felt also dirty. There was nothing to clean with, apart from a bit of washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets (which is what we had to use the most). Not even a sponge, a cloth or tea towel. Luckily we had packed our own, just in case! The arms of the living room sofa felt loose/broken and the dining table had some marks on.

Pros: great location walk to centre 5 mins brilliant comms booking in and out made simple nice accomodation comfortable and functional

Cons: could do with a more comfortable and user friendly sofa and chair set only moan im afraid

we needed somewhere for 2 nights as we were at a hockey tournament in North Ayr and it was a perfect and comfortable pla

Pros: great and quiet location. everything that was needed for a couple of days stay was there.

Cons: there was a few cobwebs and the shower tray was needing siliconed as it was very black.

Pros: my review is for another apartment the arran view. we got call about an issue,staff was so sincere and apologised and offered us the arran view that property was superb clean comfortable beds the whole apartment was lovely. I’m 100% sure the original property would no doubt be of the same standard. will defo use donnini again for our next stay in Ayr

All in all - We had a lovely stay

Pros: Location was excellent. Apt was very clean. We had everything we needed for our stay

Cons: We had booked apt No 15 but got a call a few days before we travelled to Ayr that No. 15 was no longer available for our dates and we were getting apt No 9. I had asked if it would be possible for a twin room and double room format and was advised that was no problem but when we arrived it was 2 doubles. Would rather have been told it wasn’t possible up front 😔. The bathroom and shower could do with some updating.
