Scafell Cottage on The Big "W" Ranch

The definition of R&R!

Pros: A truly stunning location! Even with other guests in the other properties on site it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, which is exactly what we’d hoped for. The apartment itself had everything we needed too.

Pros: The location was amazing, with great views, walks, and surroundings. The room itself was clean, well-appointed, and cozy. Correspondence with the owners was prompt, professional, and polite. There are a lot of rules, as others have pointed out, but that is why the property is so well kept. If anything is amiss, do let the owners know, as we found that solutions can be found immediately.

Cons: Nothing worth reporting or that wasn’t solved. A great stay especially with two young children.

Came for my Mrs birthday weekend she loved it so as long as she happy so am I but on a serious note it was out this worl

Gorgeous ranch in the heart of the lakes

Pros: Gorgeous bunk house style accommodation, had everything you need. Plenty of space to relax and the views were spectacular. Will hopefully come back next year, stunning location and the host were really helpful too. Has everything you need to unwind and enjoy the National park.

Perfect country getaway

Pros: The property was in a perfect location! It was cozy and absolutely perfect for what we needed!

Pros: Our stay st scafell cottage was perfect. Couldn't fault anything, The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was refreshing. The only downside was travelling at night, being the first time coming here we didn't know the route and the roads were pitch black. Will definitely be coming back and bringing the whole family. Gorgeous lil gem tuck away with breath taking views.

Lovely late summer getaway

Pros: Loved our getaway . It is a beautiful place with outstanding views . Cosy cottage with everything you need clean spacious beautifully designed and great Internet my son has autism and is a runner ( my fault for not checking location before booking a last summer getaway ) so nearly had an heart attack when I realised how high up we were but after taking him out for long walks and exploring wastwater before returning back to the cottage everyday he was tired enough just to relax with his favourite programs both times .

Amazing location!

Pros: The location is amazing! I’ve been coming to Wasdale for over 30 years and didn’t know it was there, but wow what a location!! The view when sat at the table was simply breathtaking, it made meal times really special.

Cons: The shower room was a little basic.
