Was amazing, only stayed one night but was very cosy. A lot of rules to keep on top of which put a lot of us on edge to

Pros: Very homey, super cosy! Amazing shower, the bathroom was gorgeous and the layout was very comfortable.

Cons: Many many rules and a consequence of a £200 if you didn’t abide. Which i found absurd considering the simple basis of these rules. Everything else was great.

Great place for a quiet break, ideal for access to Wasdale, Scafell, and woodland walks.

Pros: Great location. Very quiet. Clean, Warm, good shower, hot water. Cosy, comfy bed, friendly hosts. Well equipped throughout.

Cons: Nothing about the place needed improvement. The long private road up to the property is challenging for a nervous driver.

Absolutely loved our stay.

Pros: Great set up. Helpful guide book/manual. Idyllic and peaceful.

Cons: We didn’t realise there was accommodation above when we booked. The noise travelled downstairs a little.

Pros: I liked the ambience inside and out. All facilities provided. Kitchen had all utensils. We only stayed for a night, should have booked it for longer to explore more.

Cons: Was walking inside barefoot and noticed foot getting dirty too much. The floor needs cleaning. And the bins were not marked properly, rule book mentioned about red and blue lids (I remember) but all the bins had same lids, was confusing so we took all the waste back with us.
