A great find in Rowrah

Pros: Clean, warm and beautifully decorated with lots of nice details. Lovely birthday cake and beers awaiting on arrival (lovely touch by owners) Excellent shower with lots of complimentary shampoos and shower gels Good location for explore this less popular and a little quieter western side of the Lakes. Very handy for the Ennerdale Brewery with Tap Room and Bistro (great food and beers). Coast 2 coast path at back door

Cons: Generally all excellent. As a family of 3 we knew things would be a little tight when we booked. As a 3, or even as a couple, the lack of any real storage (and hooks to dry jackets, shelves for boots etc) did become a small issue.

Gorgeous stay, thanks!

Pros: Your accommodation was conveniently located for our daily activities and a joy to return to. We visited Loweswater, Ennerdale water, St Bees & Haystacks. We adored the interior decor, and the little touches like the coffee pods, milk & shower essentials were much appreciated! We would also like to say we enjoyed seeing your chickens each morning!

A great base for exploring the Lake District

Pros: Warm, comfortable & with everything you need. Kitchen well equipped - we cooked both nights that we stayed. Hosts were friendly & attentive, & easily contactable. A great base for exploring the Lake District.
