Good location, facilities, and cleanliness.

Pros: Good location, clean and everything you would need for a weekend away.

Cons: Stairwell not ideal if stayers were elderly.

Pros: Right in the Middle of town, so easy to get to. Good facilities - WiFi and TV with a firestick set up so plenty of stuff to watch on an evening. Clean and comfortable.

Cons: Parking is a small issue. You can park your car up the street from 6pm-8:30am, but there are not many free places to keep you car nearby outside of that. There are plenty of paid car parks around however.

Pros: Quiet and warm top floor apartment. We'll equipped and great communication with the owners. Great for Ennerdale hills

Cons: Parking was a bit tricky at times but perfectly adequate

Pros: We liked the apartment it was close to the town a very quiet road we had a lovely stay and we would recamend it and stay again cheers.

Cons: It was a bit confusing when we got there, there wasn't any numbers on the flat door's, you could do with new yale lock on the passage door cheers.

Pros: Good central location. Quiet. Very comfortable bed.

Cons: No parking. 3 flights of steep stairs. A little dusty.

Good location, quiet comfortable flat at a good price

Pros: Great location right in the middle of town, but no bars etc nearby so quiet at night. I was on the top floor so peaceful, only heard the TV in the first floor flat downstairs occasionally. No parking for the apartment itself, but paid overnight parking is available a 5min walk away. Full cooking facilities and plenty of crockery, great for self-catering. There's also a small courtyard available for residents to use (though I didn't).

Cons: The basin in the shower room was a bit small for shaving, but there's a mirror in the shower. Being on the top floor meant two flights of narrow winding stairs, so not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Could do with a medium-sized saucepan (one small, one massive) and more than one sharp knife, but these are minor really.

Walking break

Pros: Excellent base for fell walking in the western lakes, accommodation everything you need very central in the town but also very quiet at night your close enough to everything but seem to just be hidden away enough to not get the noise.
