Great stay with wonderful views

Pros: Cedar lodge, was so comfortable and equipped with everything you need for your stay. The quality of beds, linen and decor was excellent. The layout was spacious and with 7 of us staying it didn't feel overcrowded. Communication with Kate was so easy, always there if needed. Overall we had a great stay and we would not hesitate to return.

Cons: Only 6 min walk to town, but hill coming back is not for the fainthearted.

Pros: Cedar Lodge is in a perfect location to enjoy a visit to the lovely Portpatrick and surrounding area - with a fabulous view from the deck

Pros: Excellent home - well equipped. Nice and clean , superb toiletries supplied . Very comfortable beds and bed linen. South facing decked area at front of house. Home from home experience

Cons: Garden was not totally fenced off so we could not let dogs wonder in garden as there was gaps in hedging and low fencing at some areas which was a pity - however large secure decking area was good.

We had an excellent family weekend at Cedar Lodge.

Pros: The lodge was in a perfect elevated position overlooking the village. It was well equipped with everything you need for a weekend away. The beds were very comfortable. It was great that all 3 double rooms had en-suite. I would definitely recommend Cedar Lodge to my friends and family.

Cons: I can’t think of any negatives about the property.

Pros: The lodge is fantastic. The bedrooms are all large with comfortable beds and bedding and lovely furnishings. The ensuites are modern and of a good size with a larger bathroom also available with a good sized bath. The living area is spacious and well furnished, with an adjoing dining area with large table and chairs. The kitchen has everything you need, including a coffee machine. The lodge is huge, there was six of us staying and there was plenty of room for everyone and the ensuite facilities ensured that there was no rush for the showers in the morning. The views from the lodge are spectacular, overlooking the village and the sea. There is a huge decking area with table and chairs which I can only imagine would be wonderful on a nice day. Our hosts were attentive and did everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We will be back!!
