Dove Cottage (Annex)

Great little place to stay

Pros: Lovely greeting from Sue, who showed me round and where to park. Whilst small, it has everything you need and modern. Bed was really comfortable, the house was so clean, wifi and tv had netflix. The neighbourhood was really quiet. Lovely thought with the fresh bread, butter, and ask about getting milk for me. I'm definatley going back, it was perfect for working in the area.

Pros: Spotless very comfortable the best sheets I’ve ever slept in! The cottage had everything you need.

Cons: My only critique would be the hob was very difficult to use , the instructions gave no clear instructions to use it! Ended up giving in .

Lovely spacious apartment with 2 floors and safe parking.

Pros: The property was very pleasant and modern. It was well equipped. The bread, butter and milk was a really nice touch too - it made us feel very welcome. The parking right in front of the cottage, on a quiet dead end road was great. Very safe. Plenty of space for our small car. The shower was very nice and hot but my partner mentioned that the water pressure was lower than she would have liked. I didn't notice any issues with water pressure. This accommodation helped us have a good trip with all the privacy that we needed. It was a few minutes walk from shops, and a few minutes driving from a big Tesco. We used Workington as a base to get into the western lake district. It took us just under an hour each day to do this.

Cons: Though I personally slept very well, my partner noted that the seagulls woke her up a lot. This is was somewhat mitigated with a good pair of earplugs. Most of this noise was through the single glazing bedroom window and the top floor.

Pros: Lovely property - great furnishings and very comfortable.

Dove Cottage

Pros: The accommodation was lovely... the bed was slightly on the small side but we made do. Nice clean property... Thank you Mark for providing lovely place we look forward to returning in the future.

Cons: As most people before me have mentioned, the parking... However, I understand that there is a business next door and you may not always get your parking spot straight away but we got parked eventually.

Cozy

Pros: Really nice , cozy and clean . Perfect for a couple . Fresh Milk and bread provided . Calm athmosphere.

Cons: Problem with the parking.

Pros: Host was very helpful in accommodating our late arrival. Will stay again when we can.

Cons: Car access is tight due to small lanes and can be blocked but can be worked around.

Pros: Clean fresh got all you need in town centre nice touch got bread butter milk we we arrived 👍

Pros: Everything was in pristine condition. The lady who met us with the keys was very helpful.

Cons: Steep stairs. One flight had no handrail.

Exactly what I needed.

Pros: Clean and had everything you needed. Lovely breakfast touch.

Cons: Heating didn’t come on till later in the morning and was locked so couldn’t turn it on, so was freezing at 6:30 when I had to be up. Easy fix though,
