Good value, perfectly practicable stay.

Pros: Great value room in the heart of the village. We managed to park at the hotel. Facilities were comfortable and clean. The breakfast choices, quality and availability was very good. What lifted the whole experience was the warmth and fine service of the three staff re Reception & Breakfast time.

Cons: We do not have any negative feedback on this single night stay.

Pros: Location - in Grasmere centre. Beds - very comfortable. Staff - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast- home cooked to order, plus cereal, fresh fruit, croissants. Excellent. Rooms and communal areas were spotless.

Pros: Lovely house in a perfect location in the heart of grasmere. Spotlessly clean and the staff were very freindly and helpful.

We really liked our room.

Pros: The room was special, nice bathroom and large window. We were upgraded from the comfy room to the starlight room. The breakfast was very good and we liked the home made cakes in reception. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Pros: Everything. Staff were very good. Breakfast had plenty choice and well presented. Bedroom was very clean. The hotel was tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Pros: We stayed overnight in the Shepherds hut within the garden of Victoria house , very quirky! , it was nice and clean and a picturesque setting , the following morning we had a fantastic breakfast - huge choose , this was our 2nd visit to Victorian house and it didn’t disappoint !

Cons: With little or no storage in the hut we felt to stay for more than one night in it was too much , but for an overnight stay , something different it was perfect
