Pros: Just back from 1 night stay as an adult family of 4. Everything perfect - pre arrival communication- hospitality - room comfort. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Fully recommended for an independent B & B with character. Hope to be back soon.

Very welcoming and great value for money.

Pros: The location was excellent and the breakfast was delicious.

Cons: The grouting in the shower needs attention.

Excellent bed with good breakfast and a welcoming couple.

Pros: The bed was comfy and very large, I had an excellent nights sleep before our trip up the mountains. The breakfast was very nice, we went for the scrambled eggs and tomatoes. Mike was friendly and accommodating, he even offered some advice on routes up Helvellyn.

Cons: A little confusing as to which door as it is right next to the alpine club but that’s probably down to me.
