A peaceful retreat in a beautiful location.

Pros: This was our third time staying and we will be back again in the future! The owner Mick is always very accommodating and flexible for us. The room is extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast is always amazing and he caters well for gluten free.

Pros: Stunning tranquil location, spacious comfortable room with underfloor heating & a fabulous en-suite containing a wonderfully large deep bath complete with complimentary toiletries, just perfect for relaxing. An outdoor covered patio off the bedroom provided a great place to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The beds were extremely comfortable & extra fluffy blankets were provided (particularly useful when sitting out). Great options for dining within a 10 min drive. Warm & welcoming hosts Mick & Nikki made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay & provided recommendations for nearby walks. Breakfast was perfect to set us up for the day ahead with a selection of cereals, cold meats & cheeses, boiled eggs, fresh yoghurts & juices, breads & pastries. Personal little touches such as fresh fruit & flowers in the room added to the stay.

Cons: There was absolutely nothing not to like/love about this property & our stay, apart from we wish we’d stayed longer!! We will definitely be back & are very much look forward to enjoying the peace & tranquility in such beautiful surroundings once again in the not too distant future!

A perfect stay in a beautiful location

Pros: Lovely peaceful location with beautiful garden. Bedroom and bathroom decorated to a very high standard with a private terrace looking out onto the garden and valley beyond. Mick the host was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Continental breakfast every morning was delicious with plenty of choice.

Cons: I would have liked a hand towel on a hook next to the wash basin. It was strange looking at myself sitting on the toilet as the facing wall was mirrored.

Great Place to Stay on the Isle of Man

Pros: Beautifully designed modern house in a Manx national glen, so outstanding quiet surroundings. Mick and Nicky were very genial and welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Mick’s suggestions for a walk, a pub (the Creg Ny Baa) and the Douglas to Port Erin steam railway were spot on! Excellent filling breakfast, gluten-free for me. A superb weekend away!

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like!

Pros: A real home from home, beautiful property in a beautiful location. Room was incredibly spacious and clean and the friendliest of hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed my two nights here, This is now the only place I will stay when I'm back in the IOM as I can't believe there is anywhere better. Thank you so much and see you again soon.

Pros: Facilities, superb quality fittings, fabulous property. Excellent location. Very welcoming owners. Nothing too much trouble. Very nice continental breakfast. Parking easy. Safe to leave bikes outside.

Pros: Beautiful location, such a peaceful setting, a perfect example of what the world could be like a paradise.

Luxury bed and breakfast in a quiet rural area.

Pros: Lovely quiet location off the main routes. Walks around the area in the forest. Large rooms with plenty of space and huge shower/bathroom. Very well appointed. A good continental breakfast with plenty of choice.

Cons: Can't think of any improvements.
