Lovely stay - will definitely stay again.

Pros: Beautiful historic building beside the river Nith.minutes away from the town centre. Lots of character , good food and drink.

Cons: This is the teeniest thing- no socket beside the bed! Would not prevent me from staying again though- it is really lovely.

Cons: Sadly the staff were not interested in guests. Training was lacking, customer service was lacking. Yet Food was outstanding. Bath water was tepid.

Comfortable pre-Christmas stay in a beautiful place

Pros: Excellent service, lovely family room, staff were so helpful in making our toddler comfortable. The Christmas decorations were so special.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly, helpful staff.

Pros: Everything. Loved it so much we booked a second night. The negatives were not enough to stop us booking again. Evening meals were delicious.

Cons: Room was cold overnight. Shower needed upgrade. Low pressure and took forever to get warm.
