A really refreshing place to stay.

Pros: The location was within 15 minutes of my weekend gigging work and made for a very restful and comfortable place to bed down afterwards. Very cosy. And the shower was great!

Lovely hotel.

Warm and welcoming stay.

Pros: Lovely location good home cooked full English breakfast. Staff so kind especially the aussie barman who get us topped up all night. Will definitely be returning.

Pros: The service at this hotel is off the charts, it's like going back in time to when people actually cared about others. From reception to bar to restaurant all the staff are excellent. The facilities themselves are extremely well appointed, particularly for the money. Food also great

Cons: Food is expensive when compared to other restuarants of a similar calibre. That said, as above it is very good!

Ideally located for North-Western Lakes.

Pros: Perfectly located for our trip to visit family. Our room was beautiful as was the bar area. Didn't use the restaurant or have breakfast as it was more suited for us to go into Workington.
