A brilliant stay

Pros: Fantastic location, wonderful view of the sea and great facilities! Very responsive host, made sure we had everything we needed and gave us all of the information needed for the stay.

Cons: Keep an eye out for house names to find it- slightly more difficult in the dark. But really no issues at all

Cosy accommodation and kind hosts.

Pros: We would come back here in a heartbeat. Our hosts could not have been kinder. They accommodated our request for a late check-in and generally went above and beyond to give us a great experience. Central Seascale location makes this guest house accessible by train. Bike paths and quiet roads make for a good cycling holiday, and of course the hill-walking is amazing. We like the Red Admiral in nearby Gosforth for dinner or a pint.

Pros: Sea view, spacious en-suite room, very clean and well equipped with fan and extra heater plus two comfortable chairs. Full kitchen facilities, a pool ( or snooker??) table and small lounge downstairs for guests use. No issues with following the entry instructions. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Cons: Was a little worried at first that the outer door was unlocked all night and no bedroom door key so had to leave it unlocked when I went out. However, was able to securely lock the bedroom door when I was in.

Seascale is a great location for a couple of days hiking in the lakes

Pros: Nice big room, bed comfy and really comfy chairs. Full use of kitchen (shared facility although I think I was only person staying possibly due to renovations.) Great views over the sea, 5 minutes onto big sandy beach.

A perfect home away from home

Pros: The property was very clean and had everything I needed. They’ve really thought about all the little details, refreshments, hair dryer, vanity stand which was a big plus for us ladies when we’re doing our makeup😂. And the view from the property was beautiful. The hosts were amazing, answered my messages even at 1am.

Pros: Absolutely lovely area , views from our room were amazing!! The host mark was very friendly and nice to chat with , also very helpful with recommendations of places in the area , very clean accommodation with everything you could need provided ! Thankyou so much
