Days Inn Lockerbie - Annandale Water

Pros: Room was clean, comfortable and the view outstanding. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Did not exceed our expectations only because we have stayed before and it was as good.

Great overnight stay.

Pros: Great place to stop overnight, overlooking a lake, but bear in mind it’s effectively a motel. That said it’s really quiet and easy access, and safe. Lots of campervan owners stay there overnight.

Cons: Prices can vary between around £50 to £100

Really great stop off to break up our journey North

Pros: The view over the lake & beyond. The staff were all really lovely The bed was comfortable The Cost of room Couldn’t hear any road noise at all

Cons: Some bits of food at the back of the chair by dressing table - chair hadn’t been visually checked or wiped over Coffee cups were dirty - coffee drips down the outside looking like they had only been swilled under the tap in the room Both were only minor issues but made me go 🤢

Family away days

Pros: Location , the accommodation and warm welcome from staff.

Cons: Not much in eating facilities

Always a nice, value stopover.

Pros: It's always clean and generally very reasonable value in these times when everything is so expensive. The staff are always pleasant. Love the lake setting, nd super dog ffiendly.

Cons: No sockets by bed if you have medical equipment you need to use. Sofa very very uncomfortable.

Low cost, comfortable stay to break journeys

Pros: Good value for money, pleasant and friendly staff, room was clean and the view from the balcony was a lovely addition.

Cons: for the cost no complaints it is cheap and cheerful

Like staying with family ( H Branter )

Pros: The staff are brilliant nothing is too much trouble,you can have a good laugh with them .The rooms have everything you need free tea and coffee hair dryer to towels TV is OK but you don't get many channels 👍 Most of all a good morning or good bye to the staff or even thank you that makes there day better

Cons: When you stay a places like this yes there are a few bits that might get under your skin but at the end of the day just talk to the staff they will do everything in there powers to sort it 👍

Pros: Great view from the room. Room was comfortable and clean. Great location to base for exploring the sorrounding area. Staff receptive and social.

Cons: Minor-Fire and room doors close heavily during night. Footsteps reasonate through corridor a bit. (Concrete floor issue?).

Perfect motorway stop

Pros: Located on the motorway services but with the most amazing views. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The geese on the roundabout were a bonus.

Pros: Good half way stop for my journey, travelling with my dog, Clean & friendly and l felt safe.
