Pros: Perfect location, it was extremely well equipped with everything you need. Perfect little touches to accommodate both humans and doggos. We will definitely be back! Owners were so lovely and we enjoyed both local pubs.

Pros: The property was very spacious with good size bedrooms. We spent most of our time at the cottage sitting round the kitchen table but the lounge was very comfortable when we used it. Location was great with good walks on the doorstep. Local pub (Royal Oak) was a hundred yards away and dog friendly - bonus to discover our host Dudley worked behind the bar!

Cons: Reversing in to the drive!

Pros: A beautiful quaint cottage in a fantastic location. Attentive hosts. We've already booked to go back.

Pros: We had a great time in the cottage. It is luxurious with a lot of space but at the same time warm and cosy. It offers everything for a comfortable week with family. From the woodburner in the lounge to well stocked kitchen. We found various guide books and maps in the cottage very helpful and there is a huge map on the wall of the kitchen to help with planning your trips. Owners are also happy to help with advice. We couldn't choose a better place to stay in Lake District. Loved every single day...including the rainy ones.

Cosy cottage in fab location

Pros: Fabulous, clean, cosy cottage in a brilliant location. Super friendly owners went the extra mile to provide everything you would need for a comfortable stay. They even provided toothbrushes and toiletries which we wouldn't usually expect in self catering accommodation. The cottage was really well equipped with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would love to return.

Cons: Some of our party did find the mattresses a little uncomfortable, but we realise that's personal preference.

Lovely cottage close to Keswick

Pros: Location was amazing (5min drive from Keswick), the owners were friendly, and really helpful/accommodating with our requests! The cottage was really clean and had everything you would hope for a weekend away. Would 100% stay again.

Cons: This is a personal preference but the mattresses were really soft and I’m used to a firm one. Other than that nothing to dislike.

Beautiful cottage in the Lakes

Pros: Perfectly located near pubs and close to the larger town of Keswick. Gorgeous cottage with everything you could possibly need. Lovely and warm on cold mornings and the lounge was so cosy with the wood fire. Great base to go exploring. Highly recommend

Pros: Great location for walking in the lakes and visits to Keswick. Hosts were very friendly and looked after us during our stay. Lots of room both down and up stairs, lots of kitchen gadgets, plenty of information on how to use them
