Oakside Cottage Braithwaite

Pros: A beautiful cottage that is well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Gorgeous views from the living room window. The cottage is in an excellent location to head out and explore. Jayne and Trev were brilliant with their communication.

Absolute perfection....

Pros: The cottage was exceptional, beautifully clean, smelt gorgeous, and the comfiest bed I've EVER slept in. Fresh milk, lovely welcome tray. I was with 3 hormonal teenagers and they actually all said they wish we'd booked more nights and that they want to book again, and can we please make our home as cosy and as pretty as the cottage :)

Cons: The fact I hadn't booked us a week there!

Pros: Perfect cosy little cottage for our first family holiday. The owners were lovely and really accommodating with an early check in and popping the heating on early as we were travelling with our 8 week old. A really relaxing little break in a great location - near to Keswick and Whinlatter with a pub and coffee shop on the doorstep. We have very fond memories of our trip and hope to return again.

Pros: Location, the cottage had everything you need plus lost of extras (xmas decoration, walking maps/books, games, hairdryer). Very clean.

Cons: One of the single bed was not comfortable (it did sink down). I like a firm mattress. I swapped beds with my daughter and she thought it was ok. So I suppose this shouldn't be criticism but just different personal preferences.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The place was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making us feel at home right away. The surroundings were peaceful and perfect for relaxing, and the views were absolutely lovely. The host was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions we had, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The cottage had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, and the location was ideal for exploring the area. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Perfect cosy home.

Pros: This is a beautiful cosy cottage in the centre of Braithwaite. Had everything we needed, immaculate, warm and inviting. We'd had a big day in the mountains and we were grateful for this lovely home to come back to.
