Beautiful location, fabulous walks on your doorstep, the locals are all so friendly. Love Braithwaite!

Pros: The garden is beautiful and loved the sound of the babbling brook at the end of the garden. The upstairs was light and airy with fabulous views. Very clean and with lovely decor.

Cons: The main living room was quite dark and sofa a little uncomfortable, it felt quite cold at times and we couldn’t find the thermostat anywhere. Also no information on where to find it.

Would defo book again

Pros: Great location, loads of walks, hikes and trail runs straight from the doorstep. Nice enclosed garden for the dogs. A few local pubs and all serve food and dog friendly. A local store for all the essentials. Keswick is a nice walk if you need anything else, but also easy to jump on the bus or use the car.
