Pros: Excellent location just a 5 minute drive from Castle Douglas, but feels like you're in the middle of the country side.

Beautiful cottage

Pros: The cottage is lovely, pristine clean and had everything we needed. The location has beautiful views. The owners were very accommodating.

Cons: The only problem we had was with the area, lots of pubs/restaurants were not serving food or had closed. It was a 10-minute drive to the closet town, where the places that were open served beautiful view.

Very good stay cottage had everything you needed and good parking will definitely try and get back

Pros: Location was good for what we had planned with local businesses close by

Cons: If anything would have preferred a shower screen instead of a shower curtain

Pros: A very nice cottage. We went as a family and it was ideal. Very warm. Lovely beds. Only minutes from Castle Douglas and its attractions

A comfortable, relaxing cottage.

Pros: Ernambrie Cottage was in a nice location on a farm, it was very clean and comfortable. We were welcomed by the owner. The week was good value for money and the local area had lots of stuff to do.

Cons: Minor issues: WiFi (if possible) would have been nice but not essential, the kitchen was missing a few things like a baking tray, there was no welcome folder so we didn’t have any information on things like heating and bins/recycling.
