The Glen Mona Hotel

Great stay, as expected.

Pros: Disappointing that breakfast is not available now, but only a minor inconvenience, and we knew beforehand. At least the suite has a fridge. Suite.of rooms delightful, spacious and comfortable. Host family (+ dogs !) very welcoming and helpful. Situation perfect for us.

Cons: It was a bit of a pain every time we went out or in to have to manipulate the garden gate, especially with luggage in the rain !

Pros: This is my second visit to the glen mona and on both occasions I can say that it's rooms are immaculate and nothing is to much trouble if you require anything. You will not be disappointed here\

Lovely place to stay in the countryside

Pros: Lovely suites and garden. Lisa and Sean friendly and helpful. Bus from Douglas or Ramsey stops almost outside.

A great place to stay and good value for money.

Pros: The room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owners were friendly and helpful. The accommodation is perfectly situated between Ramsey and Laxey. Ramsey was great for eating out and Laxey was a lovely place to visit etc. Good value for money.

Cons: The option for breakfast would have been nice but at least a fridge is provided so that you can buy food and keep it fresh.

A very enjoyable stay. Very comfortable, and friendly hosts.

Pros: great rural location but transport is necessary. very comfortable suite. the owners dogs were very friendly. nice pub when open.

Cons: Perhaps access to a communal kitchen with basic facilities would be good(toaster, microwave etc). Although understandable, it was a pity the pub was only open a couple of nights, because it was a very nice bar and could be a great atmosphere.

Best place to stay on the island

Pros: Very clean very comfortable and just what we needed

Pros: Room/suite was nice, comfy and cosy, like a mini home away from home. The pub attached was fantastic, awesome atmosphere, super friendly people and staff.

Cons: A little disappointed the pub wasn't open every day, but it didn't detract from my stay.

A lovely stay to discover a little more about the IOM and a good base for cycling.

Pros: The hotel was good- remote and not the location I had initially thought I booked, however, it was lovely and a quiet retreat. Being on bikes was not an issue and the bus stop outside worked perfectly. The milk, tea and biscuits were a lovely addtion and really made it welcoming and helpful arriving on day 1. The owners were friendly and the rooms were lovely and cosy.

Pros: The place was so idyllic, lovely couple so accommodating there 4 dogs are so friendly and beautiful, tram stop is feet away from the property would highly recommend for a beautiful peaceful stay
