We would certainly stay here again - we only just scraped the potential of this as a holiday base

Pros: This well-furbished lodge with glorious views across the Solway coastline provided eveything we could possibly need for a grown up family holiday. While we were fortunate with the exceptional weather that allowed us to breakfast on the balcony for four of the six mornings (and to breakfast at the next door deer park for one of the remaining days) the hosts have provided everything needed even if we had had to spend more time indoors.

Cons: The kitchen smelled quite fume-y - likely a function of the tight insulation which made the lodge so warm and comfortable. But other than that I would struggle to find anything to dislike - I even only hit my head on the low beam in the sitting room once which is inconsiderable given the duration of our stay - so even more perfect for those 5ft ten and under!
