Pros: Well equipped and spacious accommodation. Quiet location, great for walking the dog and relaxing. Easy access to main road links - we did day trips to Stirling and Loch Lomond as well as Dumfries and Galloway.

Pros: The Mews Flat was an exceptional property set in an idilic location on 5 thousand acres estate the evening walks around the loch were so peaceful, and the gardens and grounds were so well looked after The bedrooms were all doubles with en-suite and the lounge diner was large enough for two large sofas and a table to accommodate 8 people

Perfect in every way

Pros: Exceptional standard of cleanliness, beautiful Scottish country estate location, and very kind, attentive host. We had a fabulous stay at The Mews over the New Year period. The flat was very warm and comfortable and we had everything we needed. Beds were superking sized in 2 rooms and 2 singles in the 3rd room. Beautiful soft feather pillows, luxurious toiletries, and soft thick fluffy towels. Tea and coffee were also provided, and the estate and nearby woods were exceptional for dog walking and wildlife spotting. We were even lucky enough to see an aurora borealis display on our last night which was enhanced by the dark sky location. We will definitely be back. The Dalswinton estate is really quite special.

Just perfect would love to come back

Pros: It was incredible, very big bedrooms with an en suite. Kitchen very well equipped short of nothing, the fown stairs utility room a extra plus Host was very kind and made you feel welcome the whole outlay just perfect.

Cons: I liked everything my husband thought it is a bit out in the sticks not sure if there is a bus route forgot to ask. So you would need a car .

Pros: Heel groot appartement waar alles in zit. Van wasmiddel tot vaatwasmiddel. Zelfs een paraplu en een parkeer schijf lag er klaar. We hoefde niks mee te nemen. Sarah is een geweldige gastvrouw die alles goed regelt en voor ons klaar stond. Elke slaapkamer heeft een badkamer. Beneden is een extra wc. Het washok is echt een plus punt. Netjes en gezellig appartement!

Cons: Ik kan geen punten bedenken wat tegen viel.
