STUNNING LODGE - HOME FROM HOME Kippford

Pros: Location. Lovely well equipped lodge,very peaceful.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Fantastic site. Beautiful grounds and facilities at Kippford site. Well done to the guys maintaining the grounds. Beautiful shrubs and landscaped areas. Very well kept and gorgeous plants. Plenty of shops nearby. Parks and things for kids to do in nearby Dalbeattie. On site activity areas for wee kids and big kids. Lovely beach walks nearby too. Cabin was fantastic. Huge. Plenty of space and everything you would ever need. Definitely booking again to go back. Loved it.

Cons: Nothing. All good.

Great lodge

Pros: The Lodge was great, the setting was so peaceful and secluded. It was spacious and comfortable. The lodge had everything that we needed. We were able to completely relax in a lovely setting. The birdlife was amazing, our daughter identified 15 species of birds using Merlin app while sat on the veranda. We will definitely be coming back.

Pros: The lodge is simply fantastic! Superb location, charming, fully equipped, spacious.

Great lodge in an interesting area and excellent for dog walks.

Pros: Spacious, comfortable and homely, and good to have an en-suite as well as the main bathroom.

Cons: The mattress in the master bedroom needs replacing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Pros: It was large enough for the 6 of us (4 adults & 2 kids). Although the camp is huge the lodge was secluded. Had everything we needed.

Cons: Think that the sell themselves short by stating that it doesn’t have parking or internet, when there is room for two cars and there is internet.

Pros: Beautiful location, lovely accommodation and brilliantly priced. We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

Lovely spacious lodge

Pros: A really great location close to everywhere we wanted to explore. The lodge was spacious, the lounge and kitchen area was great and so comfortable. Great for the dog with the secure decking and nice to sit outside in the sunshine. The set up is good for privacy in the decking area. Real benefit having two bathrooms and the bedrooms are a good size. Overall a lovely place to stay!

Cons: For us it missed some of the extra touches we have had in other places. Should have checked the questions..you need to take essentials like toilet roll, dish cloths etc. The WiFi password didn’t work and neither did the Sky. Not too much of a problem but was a little annoying. Beds not too comfortable but ok for a few days.
