Find Me Out Holiday Cottage

Pros: Fantastic location and a very cosy house. Perfect for a getaway.

Cons: Kitchen wasn't the best equipped. Some lights were not working.

Pros: We loved the cottage and how out of the way it was! We drove from the South so the directions we received weren't entirely helpful (we had to open 2 gates and the road was a bit rough) but we arrived without issue! The cottage was clean and has pretty much everything you need including towels and cooking appliances. Plenty of lovely walks around and the dogs had the best time ever! WiFi didn't work during our stay, and the signal was very poor at the cottage, but the owner replied to our message very quickly and it didn't really bother us anyway.

Pros: Location out of this world. Fantastic countryside estate. Cottage beautiful and in a superb location- remote and peaceful. Lots of wildlife, great walking and incredible views. Owner so lovely.

Cons: Property a bit tired. Some things not working and a bit dusty

Pros: A gorgeous little cottage in the most amazing location. We had a beautiful stay and will definitely be back.

A gem of a place. We'll be back.

Pros: Didn't receive email from Booking with details of keybox code and there was no one on site or answering phone when we arrived. Fortunately, we bumped into someone who personally knew the owner and gave us their personal mobile number, so we were able to text and request the keybox code, and let ourselves into the property. Not sure what we would have done otherwise.

Cons: Nothing - it was lovely and we're already planning our return at some point in the future.

Wonderful rural escape with nice walks surprisingly close to Glasgow

Pros: Beautiful, quiet spot -- perfect for getting away from the city (but with good wifi and cable signals, so you don't have to disconnect entirely). Really cozy with the fire going and the stream rushing by. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had fun using an Aga for the first time.

Cons: As two fairly tall people, the sloped ceiling of the bedroom was a little uncomfortable. A double bed would fit better, but I understand it wouldn't offer the flexibility of two twins. Also, the road through the estate is pretty rough. Our little car made it, but we had to be very careful!

Definitely recommend for a relaxing break.

Pros: Location is great for a peaceful holiday, stunning scenery and wildlife. Loved the cottage, well looked after, cosy and warm due to Aga on in kitchen, lashings of hot water.

Cons: A welcome pack would have been good, forgot milk had to go back out, extra toilet rolls would be better, sofa bed was very dirty when unfolded it, used single folding bed instead. Mould in shower wasn't nice..

A woodland wonder that we plan to return to.

Pros: The property was private and surrounded by woodland, exactly what we were looking for. It was beyond glorious to fall to sleep to the sound of the small stream just outside. Inside was so wonderfully warm and cozy. We didn’t want to leave !

Perfection! Home from home in the most beautiful surroundings

Pros: This cottage is absolutely perfect for a peaceful time away. It has everything we needed and the location was fantastic to explore with our dog - we can’t wait to book again

Cons: The only thing I’d mention was the road leading to the cottage after the glamping pods needs a bit of work done to it

What a place! Perfect nature breakaway!

Pros: Find Me out was perfect in every way! it is located at the very edge of the most beautiful estate! We had no idea until we arrived. We had some breathtaking encounters with the wildlife, just feet away from our path. We only came up for a long weekend and the estate alone can be explored for days. The area is truly a refuge for nature lovers. Find Me Out is secluded but with easy access. There is a stream in the garden! what more can anyone ask for?! The pictures on the add do not do it justice. We want to go back already! We will stay longer next time!
