Cressfield Villa

Pros: Nice house, easy to get to on bus and by car and lovely walks, Moments from the bar.

Cons: A few small things, but didn't impact the stay just need to check a few things more thorough, the bathroom sinks needed unblocked and the fan was faulty and loud, and gaps in hedge need blocked as our dog got out. overall though we loved the visit

Lovely cottage village not accessible

Pros: the house was lovely and comfortable, plenty of room and facilities OK

Cons: disappointed that it was so close to motorway which was very noisy and annoying. Couldn't go to the hotel as my mobility scooter could not access the gravel and I couldn't get up the ten steps to access the hotel which was a shame as we'd like to have eaten there .

Excellent cottage in the right location for an enjoyable experience

Pros: The house was lovely, clean and warm. The beds had clean crisp sheets and were comfortable. Towels were provided which made packing a small bag a lot easier too. There was everything that we needed to make our stay very comfortable. Thank you! Would definitely recommend a stay here if your are in the area.

Cons: Just a little thing that can hopefully be remedied for the next guests. The kettle had a leak and flooded the work top during a boil.

The house was perfect for us while working in nearby Lockerbie. Very clean and comfortable and excellent value for money

Very enjoyable. We love the area and loved the house. We would definitely come back again.

Pros: We liked the location and the proximity to the hotel where we had dinner on the first night. We liked the size of all the rooms especially the bedrooms. The bedding and towels were spotless as were all the dishes in the kitchen.

Cons: The only problem we had was the comfort of the two soft settees in the living room. They were quite low, quite deep and very soft. We are elderly and found them very difficult to get up out of! We couldn’t use those two settees and that was a pity. No doubt younger people would not have these difficulties!
