ERIN NEAMH - Magnificent sea views cosy cottage in Cumbria

Stunning place and location

Pros: The sea views were magnificent, and situated in the most beautiful location. Plenty of room inside and out and very cozy with log burner and heating system … miles of walks

Cons: We had a problem working the tv ( so may need instructions) and the single room even though bed was extremely comfortable had a problem with slats coming loose, need a better base or just weight of a small child

Just the right place for us to be close to family and rely on a warm cosy cottage with amazing Solway views.

Pros: An initial problem was sorted by one of the owners speedily. Plenty of room for us all. Warm and comfortable.

Cons: The path to and from the entrance can pose a problem in wet weather - it can be slippery and it is uneven in places.

Lovely home for the weekend. Great views and peacefull

Pros: Great location. Host was fantastic with communication.

Cons: Only fault we had was that the garden fence gaps between the strips of wood were too big. She would have got out.

Wonderful Views and Comfortable Stay overall

Pros: The property has been refurbished to a very high standard, the beds are super comfy and the bedding smelt beautiful. The views are wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, there were a few niggles but they didn’t stop us having a lovely stay in your gorgeous home.

Cons: The instructions to the property are ambiguous and we ended up next door.. when we contacted the owner, they were unable to direct us to the property and needed to call us back. We used what three words and found the property. The property is really lovely, well decorated and very comfortable apart from the kitchen chairs which are really uncomfy and would benefit from cushions. The sea views are lovely, however, because the privet hedges have been left to overgrow, this occluded the view and access to and egress from the property was difficult and we got wet needing to brush up against the hedges. The Belling Farmhouse oven and induction hob is lovely, however, there are no instructions on how to use this and we ended up watching numerous you tube videos to get the controls working. The lamp of made of twigs needed more batteries and this would have been nice of an evening.

Perfect stay - didn’t want to leave.

Pros: We’ve just got back from a 2 night stay here. There isn’t a single thing I could complain about! The house is beautiful. It’s furnished so lovely! Love the way it’s set out inside. The beds are so comfy! And the covers smelt so fresh and clean!! The view is amazing. The shower is lovely. Easy to find and access. It had everything we needed. We really didn’t want to leave. Such a beautiful area. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home. X
