Fantastic break in a great property. Home from home. Can’t wait to go back.

Pros: Great location. Log burner was a bonus. Cosy living area with comfortable sofa, large fireside armchair and dining table. Garden area was amazing. Master bedroom had a very comfy bed.

Cons: This is just a small thing and didn’t affect their use but I think the fridge and cooker would benefit from an upgrade. The kitchen is kitted out with every gadget required for your stay (one cup hot water dispenser, microwave, toaster, air fryer) but I think the aged white goods let it down slightly. As I say…it’s just a minor thing.

If looking for a get-away-from-it-all break, the Isle of Whithorn ticks most boxes.

Pros: The location was as wished for - quiet and peaceful with views out to the sea. A lot of trouble has been taken to ensure the comfort of guests, the well chosen interior design and general comfort of the property. (Thank you). The pictures have been well chosen by someone with an artist's eye - in keeping with the area much favoured by artists through recent history.

Cons: I apologise for any negativeness - but one or two things were not as advertised in the joining instructions: Told to expect two double size bedrooms, there's only one, the 2nd has a single bed. Thuis occasion no problem, but embarrassing if one had arrived expecting the two. There is no dishwasher nor an induction hob but an electric one, and no heated towel rail in the shower room all as advertised.

Lovely property in a fantastic setting

Pros: Property was warm and inviting with everything you could want. It was clean and comfortable and within walking distance of a community cafe. There was a pub and restaurant on the harbour front for a drink and an excellent meal.

Cons: No particular problems found in the property.

A lovely short break

Pros: Loved the house and the area although it was very quiet and maybe different in winter when the weather is bad

Cons: A little bit too quiet for us. Everything was lovely tho

Quiet and peaceful

Pros: The walk down to the harbour was lovely. The garden was very private and had a sea view.

Cons: Nothing to do with the property but trying to get lunch on Tuesday or Wednesday was impossible which was very disappointing.

Pros: Great location. Very peaceful. Short stroll to lovely pub (fabulous Sunday roast)

Great property in a fantastic location.

Pros: Great location, cosy property. Owner contacted us the day after arrival to make sure we had settled in.

Cons: Had to put the supplied quilt cover on the bedding ourselves, is this normal practice? Some surfaces could have been cleaner, for example, crumbs on cooker top, dust and hairs on bathroom floor around toilet pan. None of this would stop us staying again.

Pros: Location, views, were great easy access to village

Cons: Nothing all good

A great place to stay for a peaceful, away from it all break. Everything you need is provided.

Pros: There were lovely sea views. The property had lots of thoughtful little extras such as a sewing kit, a flask, and a Google speaker.

Cons: A mirror on the bathroom wall would have been nice. The kitchen door was quite hard to close. These are very minor though!
