Compact but clean and well equipped in a good location.

Pros: Clean, good sized living room and kitchen. Sky TV was the best we've had in an apartment. Location near the town centre was very good.

Cons: Quite small and tight to get bags/cases in and upstairs. The stairs, especially, were spiral and very narrow, compounded by a bizarre motion-detect light that didn't come on till several steps up stairs and sometimes went off midway! The bedroom was very tight with less than 1 foot on either side of the bed. The parking space was a bit of a hike when the rain was pouring down!

Sweet and cosy

Pros: Sweet and cosy, would recommend this holiday home to others, next door was a bit noisy but friendly, it was nice and clean, no dvd or cd player tho as advertised.

Cons: The stairs were definitely steep and the light at top of stairs wasn't working, the washing machine wasn't working properly, we forgot a bag of dvds and CDs but couldn't get in touch with anyone yet, because it was advertised there was a dvd player so we took some but wasn't one, could you get in touch with me to get our CDs and dvds back.

Excellent, quiet and clean

Pros: Very quaint, quiet location. The cottage was ideally located with only a 5 min walk into Keswick High street. All the cooking equipment you would ever need if you didn't want to eat out. Dedicated car park space just round the corner. WiFi and sky TV were all good perks, but generally you are there for the walking and views, so sleep is most likely the main thing you want after a day walking and dinner. Will happily stay here again. Path to Portinscale is just round the corner and can be walked in about 20 mins.

Cons: Nothing really to report here. Only issue for less agile people would be the small spiral staircase, there's nothing to be done about that just a heads up. The auto lights on the landing were a little sporadic, but nothing major

Overall lovely little cottage. Would stay here again.

Pros: Cozy. Good location. Own car parking space (100 metres away) Clean. Good facilities for self-catering.

Cons: Disappointed that advertised WiFi/internet didn't work......as previous occupants had stated. Step from single bedroom very dangerous for a child or elderly, although lit at night.

It was just what we expected.

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Able to use outside space due to good weather! Great pictures on the living room walls. Beds were comfy. The very creaky upstairs floors didn’t bother us as we live in a very old creaky cottage ourselves!

Would happily visit again!

Pros: Location excellent! Cosy & comfortable. No breakfast. Heating, gas fire & hot water easy to sort & effective.

Cons: Booking.com communication confusing by email & app after telephone enquiry.
