Good hideaway in the heart of Keswick. Comfortable and well equipped property.

Pros: Great location and having parking. Nice comfy beds and well equipped kitchen

Cons: A couple of the heaters weren't working, so the bathroom was cold. (We did have a towel rail which we plugged into the bedroom to dry our towels)

Beautiful, well kitted- out apartment in centre of Keswick

Pros: We had a superb break and despite a few niggles think that this is a fantastic place to have a Keswick based holiday. All helped by fantastic weather! Lovely location with views of not only the sky but over the town too. Main bedroom has a comfortable 5' bed and plenty of storage and hangers. (Didn't use twin room, but also had good storage). Ample soft white towels. Kitchen well equipped with dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Also toastie machine, pancake and smoothie maker. Tea towels and Soaps/detergents included. Knives actually sharp. Plenty of crockery cutlery and cooking utensils.only one (wooden, large) chopping/bread board. Generous comfortable sitting area with good sized TV for the space and sturdy table for dining/walk prep/jigsaws etc. Instructions for everything a bit hidden but available (in drawer above dvd player)

Cons: Steps outside are steep and rather sharp (brutal looking) especially after a long day in the fells.. Glad didn't have car as the entrance looked challengingly narrow. The lighting isn't great in the kitchen sink area. Odd that all lights are on dimmers except the living area. Bathroom it's weakest area. Good sized power shower on the corner but no \

Wonderful, our 3rd stay and not our last!

Pros: Great spot, nice and central, well placed for going on walks or just enjoying the nearby pubs and cafes.

Cons: The parking is down a very very thin lane, but thankfully there is plenty free parking nearby.

Great place, plus having the parking space is a bonus. Hopefully stay here again in the future.

We really didn’t want to leave!

Pros: We loved how central the property was, in terms of the town, and the Lake District Area itself. The flat was very well appointed - everything we could have needed was all to hand.

Pros: Great location, warm and comfortable property, and quiet and peaceful even though it’s a stones throw from Keswick centre!

Cons: I messaged the app several times to get in touch regarding check in and check out times at the property but upon calling Sykes/Lakes Cottage Holidays they told me they hadn’t got a response. I then informed them of our circumstances and no adjustments could be facilitated, and when I presented other solutions these couldn’t either. Check in was smooth, however check out being 9am on the dot we all rushed out to ensure we were checked out then and due to the urgent need to check out then we’d made other time sensitive arrangements. Upon check out I asked a member of staff if I could check out urgently as we were in a hurry and they told me 1 minute and proceeded to stay on the phone for several minutes causing us further delay. This experience of the Sykes/Lakes Cottage was therefore disappointing.

Fantastic stay at this central but quiet apartment.

Pros: Location perfect, property nicely decorated & clean, with plenty of space for a family of 4.

Cons: Access to the car parking was tight! But got easier as the week went on. Recycling could be better organised with bins clearly labelled for the property.

Cons: The alleyway to the parking space is very narrow - definitely only suitable for small cars. Like previous reviews, we couldn’t find the general waste bin for the flat.

Pros: Great location, close to the centre of Keswick, but it was still quiet inside. The apartment was clean and well equipped and had everything we needed.

Cons: The 9am checkout time is too early.
