Lovely cosy stay in a nicely furnished, clean cottage.

Pros: Very nicely furnished and cosy, kitchen etc was well stocked with plates, utensils etc. The bedding, blankets and towels all smelled amazing! Everything was spotlessly clean. The little homely touches were a really nice surprise too. A perfect comfy stay.

Cons: The only downside for me was the shower, I couldn’t get it at a decent flow/temperature combo. That could have been user error on my part though!

Pros: Me and my partner stayed at Maggie’s cottage for two nights over Christmas and couldn’t have been happier. The cottage is spotlessly clean, a fully equipped kitchen with everything you might need, comfortable beds, lovely decor, and board games. Bassenthwaite lake is just a 15 min drive down the road. Great value for money. We loved our stay!
